Housekeeper – Hotel Cleaning Specialist

About the role

AvantStay is seeking an organized, detail‑oriented Housekeeper to maintain the cleanliness and presentation of its hotel rooms. You will follow AvantStay’s standards and inspection checklists to ensure each guest experiences a spotless environment.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain general cleanliness in hotel rooms, including vacuuming, mopping, and sweeping.
• Remove trash, recycling, and compost from all receptacles and replace liners.
• Refresh linens such as bedding, sheets, and towels using on‑site supplies.
• Report any damages, security concerns, or maintenance issues found in rooms.
• Comply with health and safety regulations and company policies.
• Monitor and report stocking levels of consumables and cleaning supplies.
• Complete daily job lists, paperwork, and inspection forms.

Required profile

• Previous housekeeping experience preferred.
• Availability for a flexible, full‑time schedule including weekends.
• Excellent organizational skills and ability to prioritize tasks.
• Physical ability to stand, walk, bend, and squat for up to 8 hours.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to work efficiently.
