About the role

We are looking for a General Care Nurse to join our Oncology Clinic. The nurse will provide high‑quality patient care, support diagnostic and therapeutic procedures, and collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to ensure patient‑centered services.

Key responsibilities

• Assess patients' health status and contribute to care plan development, implementation, and evaluation.
• Prepare patients for diagnostic and therapeutic procedures and provide information and emotional support to patients and families.
• Ensure accurate and safe preparation and administration of systemic therapies.
• Assist physicians during invasive procedures such as biopsies and abscess drainage, and perform wound care.
• Maintain infection‑control standards and occupational safety requirements.
• Provide emergency medical assistance and educate patients on cancer prevention, screening, medication adherence, and physical activity.

Required profile

• Professional nursing education in accordance with Latvian legislation and registration in the health‑care personnel register.
• Ability to prioritize tasks, react quickly, and work effectively in emergency situations.
• Fluent in the state language; conversational knowledge of at least one foreign language is desirable.
• Strong communication skills, precision, and a high sense of responsibility.

Required skills

• Systemic therapy preparation and administration.
• Assistance with invasive procedures (biopsy, drainage, etc.).
• Wound care and infection‑control practices.
