About the role

The airport is looking for a Tractor Equipment Driver to maintain and operate ground handling vehicles on the airfield from October 2026 to March 2027, with a possibility of extending the contract permanently. The role involves ensuring safe and efficient movement of aircraft on the runway, taxiways and aprons.

Key responsibilities

• Perform cleaning, sweeping and maintenance of runway, taxiway, maneuvering paths and aprons.
• Drive and maintain airport ground‑handling equipment, conducting daily checks before and after use.
• Load reagents, prepare layouts and carry out other tasks related to airfield upkeep.
• Ensure all work complies with airport procedures and aviation regulations.

Required profile

• Basic education, preferably secondary.
• Latvian language proficiency at B2 level.
• Valid driver’s licence for categories B, C or TR2.
• At least one year of practical driving experience.
• Minimum one year of professional experience in a similar role.
• High sense of responsibility and ability to work in a team.

Required skills

• Category B driver licence.
• Category C driver licence.
• Category TR2 driver licence.
• Operation of ground handling tractors and related equipment.
