Systems Network Specialist

About the role

Join a dynamic IT company in Riga that blends a start‑up spirit with the stability of a German parent group. As a Systems Network Specialist you will work with leading networking technologies to design, implement and maintain robust LAN/WAN solutions for our customers.

Key responsibilities

• Configure and manage Fortinet, NetScaler, VMware and Azure networking products.
• Design, implement and maintain LAN/WAN infrastructures.
• Install, configure and troubleshoot network equipment.
• Monitor performance, resolve incidents and collaborate with cross‑functional teams.
• Plan capacity, apply security measures, document configurations and support vendors.

Required profile

• Relevant IT qualification with 1‑3 years of experience in a similar role or 5+ years in a technical environment.
• Hands‑on experience with FortiGate firewalls, Cisco Nexus switches and VMware SD‑WAN solutions.
• Certifications such as CCNA, CompTIA Network+, Fortinet NSE or Azure Networking (AZ‑700) are a plus.
• Proven ability to maintain and support network infrastructure.
