Senior FPGA Team Lead

About the role

We are seeking a Senior FPGA Team Lead to drive the architecture, design, and delivery of complex FPGA‑based systems. This senior position combines deep technical expertise with leadership responsibilities, guiding a team of FPGA engineers through the full development lifecycle.

Key responsibilities

• Lead the architecture, design, and implementation of advanced FPGA solutions.
• Provide technical mentorship and guidance to FPGA engineers.
• Collaborate with system, RF, hardware, and software teams on system‑level decisions.
• Design and integrate high‑speed data paths, digital interfaces, and DSP algorithms such as filtering and channelization.
• Ensure signal integrity, performance, latency, and resource efficiency of high‑speed links.
• Own the end‑to‑end development process from requirements through simulation, implementation, and validation.
• Lead laboratory bring‑up, debugging, troubleshooting, and performance optimization.
• Define and promote best engineering practices, coding standards, and design methodologies.

Required profile

• B.Sc. or M.Sc. in Electrical Engineering or a related discipline.
• Minimum 8 years of hands‑on FPGA design and development experience.
• Strong expertise in digital signal processing and high‑speed transceiver technologies.
• Proven ability to lead technical decisions and mentor engineers.
• Fluent written and spoken English.
