Software Engineer for Data Integrations

About the role

Swedbank Procurement IT is seeking a Software Engineer who will design and implement data‑driven integration solutions on the ServiceNow platform. You will work at the intersection of modern data platforms and enterprise applications, leveraging Azure Data Lake, Databricks and AI capabilities to transform the procurement domain.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and maintain Procurement IT applications on ServiceNow across BCM, TPRM and related modules.
• Implement AI‑driven use cases such as intelligent search, recommendations, automation and data enrichment.
• Build and manage integrations using REST APIs and standard integration platforms, consolidating data from multiple sources.
• Collaborate with architects and product owners on design decisions and lifecycle management.
• Support internal stakeholders, manage update sets, instance cloning and version upgrades across environments.
• Participate in the full development lifecycle from analysis to ongoing maintenance.

Required profile

• Excellent analytical, problem‑solving and communication skills.
• 3+ years of hands‑on ServiceNow development.
• Fluency in English, both spoken and written.
• Experience working with international teams.

Required skills

• ServiceNow development and scripting framework (JavaScript, OOP, design patterns).
• REST API integration and standard integration platforms.
• Familiarity with Azure Data Lake and Databricks.
• Experience implementing or consuming AI/ML capabilities (ServiceNow AI or external).
• Knowledge of ServiceNow TPRM, BCM and CMDB modules (advantage).
