German-Speaking Project Management Office Specialist

About the role

Arvato Systems, part of Bertelsmann-Jobs, is looking for a German-speaking Project Management Office Specialist in Riga. The role supports project managers in their daily work, mainly through project account controlling and analysis for several IT projects, and requires fluent German and English.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain project controlling data in the company's project management tools
• Communicate monthly with project managers about each project and its controlling status
• Set up controlling for new projects according to contractual requirements
• Plan, communicate and track/report project controlling activities, and help document and manage project plans in the project planning system
• Work on specific customer projects to understand project management methods, frameworks, standards, processes and tools

Required profile

• Completed studies or a comparable qualification
• Initial experience in project management, controlling or a similar field
• Fluent German and English, required for communication with international locations and German customers
• Good analytical, presentation and communication skills; customer-oriented approach
• Education in project management is an advantage

Required skills

• Advanced MS Office skills, particularly MS Excel, MS PowerPoint and MS Outlook

• Monthly gross base salary from 2,000 to 2,900 EUR depending on expertise
