Senior Project Manager / Project Lead – Cybersecurity & Information Security

About the role

We are looking for an experienced Senior Project Manager / Project Lead who combines strong project leadership with an entrepreneurial mindset and the ambition to build, lead, and scale an organization. This is not a traditional project management or PMO role. You will lead complex international engagements across Cybersecurity, Information Security, IT Transformation, Regulatory Transformation, and IT‑related M&A while helping establish and scale our project delivery organization in Latvia.

Key responsibilities

• Take end‑to‑end ownership of complex client engagements, managing scope, budget, resources, timelines, quality and risks.
• Establish effective governance, delivery structures and transparent reporting for C‑level stakeholders.
• Lead multidisciplinary and international project teams, ensuring high‑quality deliverables and sustainable client outcomes.
• Identify issues early and drive pragmatic solutions, acting as a trusted counterpart to senior client stakeholders.
• Build and develop a high‑performing project organization in Latvia, defining roles, governance and scalable delivery standards.

Required profile

• Several years of experience leading complex IT, transformation, cybersecurity, information security or M&A‑related projects.
• Proven track record delivering projects in demanding, regulated or transaction‑driven environments.
• Strong stakeholder management skills, including interaction with senior management and C‑level executives.
• Entrepreneurial mindset, strong sense of ownership and ability to create structure in ambiguous environments.
• Excellent English communication skills; German or another European language is a plus.
