SAP R2R Architect

About the role

We are looking for an SAP R2R Architect to lead the transformation of Record‑to‑Report processes using SAP solutions. You will shape architecture governance, create customer roadmaps, and deliver methodologies that improve organizational efficiency.

Key responsibilities

• Run SAP pre‑sale and implementation governance, including fit‑gap analysis, process changes and troubleshooting.
• Evaluate current customer solutions to identify SAP implementation opportunities.
• Develop R2R functional requirements and create blueprints that align IT and business enablers.
• Collaborate on account planning to define customer visions and drive architecture governance across the R2R domain.
• Lead or support target architecture and roadmap development, ensuring continuous alignment with SAP solutions.
• Introduce innovations to address specific customer needs and optimize processes.
• Maintain strong customer relationships and assist sales in solution discovery.
• Assess R2R trends and SAP portfolios to formulate effective roadmaps.
• Provide effort estimates for organizational design improvements, technical configurations and SAP developments.

Required profile

• Minimum 1 year of experience as a Software Architect.
• Proven ability to identify business opportunities and solution gaps in the R2R domain.
• Experience presenting SAP features and innovations tailored to customer needs.
• Strong understanding of SAP S/4HANA Finance and Controlling functionality.
• Knowledge of budgeting, S&OP, cost allocation and fast‑closing approaches.
• Excellent communication skills in English (B2+/C1).
