Reservations Coordinator (EU Work Eligible)

About the role

The international 5-star Grand Hotel Kempinski Riga is looking for a Reservations Coordinator who is eligible to work in the EU. The role covers the end-to-end handling of reservations, from receipt and processing to preparing offers according to guest requests and hotel standards.

Key responsibilities

• Handle reservations professionally, from receipt and processing to preparing offers, in line with guest requests and hotel standards.
• Answer phone calls and emails, coordinate incoming and outgoing communications, and handle telephone reservations to hotel standards.
• Enter reservations accurately into the hotel's property management system.
• Monitor and verify reservations received from online distribution channels.
• Inform relevant hotel departments about guests' special requests.
• Promote and upsell higher-category rooms and other hotel services.
• Enter group rooming lists into the reservation system.

Required profile

• Proven experience in hotel Reservations or Front Office departments.
• Excellent written and spoken Latvian and English for communicating with international guests.
• Degree or coursework in hospitality or the humanities is an advantage.

Required skills

• Experience with a hotel property management system (Opera or Fidelio).
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Proficient computer literacy.
• Responsibility, focus and attention to detail.
