About the role

Orkla Foods Latvia is looking for a Technical Manager to ensure the continuous operation of the automatic and technical equipment at the Spilva production plant. You will lead the plant’s technical team, develop maintenance strategies and support the factory’s production needs.

Key responsibilities

• Guarantee uninterrupted operation of all automatic and technical equipment.
• Develop, implement and maintain a preventive maintenance plan for the plant.
• Order spare parts in a timely manner according to the maintenance schedule.
• Lead and develop the plant’s technical team, ensuring continuous skill growth.
• Provide technical support aligned with the factory’s requirements.
• Coordinate with external service providers delivering automation and technical solutions.

Required profile

• Technical education (engineering or related field).
• Minimum 3 years of experience in production technical support.
• At least 2 years of experience in leading a technical team.
• Good command of Latvian and English (English required for an international environment).
• Strong analytical and technical thinking.
• Proficiency with MS Office applications.
