Procurement Specialist

About the role

Aerones is seeking a Procurement Specialist based in Riga to support production, R&D, MRO and field teams. The role requires independent decision‑making and technical understanding to ensure efficient procurement processes.

Key responsibilities

• Ensure timely procurement and ordering of materials for production and operational needs.
• Organise procurement of equipment, tools, chemicals and technical materials for various teams.
• Collaborate with existing suppliers and identify new ones for reliable, cost‑effective sourcing.
• Negotiate pricing, delivery terms and contract conditions.
• Conduct market research, supplier evaluation and price monitoring.
• Maintain procurement and material data in the ERP system.
• Confirm and monitor delivery schedules and resolve procurement‑related challenges with engineering, warehouse, logistics, MRO and field teams.

Required profile

• At least 2 years of procurement experience.
• Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks and make autonomous decisions.
• Technical knowledge or education in electronics, mechanics, manufacturing or related fields is a plus.
• Experience in large electronics or mechanical manufacturing is advantageous.
• Strong understanding of supplier evaluation, pricing comparison, lead‑time analysis and product assessment.
• Excellent English and Latvian communication skills.

Required skills

• Experience with ERP systems (Monitor G5 experience is a plus).
