Product Security Engineer

About the role

We are looking for a Product Security Engineer to partner with engineering teams and embed security into our platform as it scales. In this hands‑on position you will protect applications, cloud infrastructure, APIs and the development lifecycle by designing, implementing and automating security controls.

Key responsibilities

• Review application architecture and new features for security risks and perform threat modeling.
• Identify and remediate vulnerabilities in backend services, APIs, mobile and web applications.
• Support internal and external penetration‑testing activities.
• Build and evolve a Secure SDLC, integrating security tools into CI/CD pipelines.
• Improve cloud security posture across AWS, GCP or Azure, including Kubernetes hardening, IAM policies and secrets management.
• Deploy and maintain SAST, DAST, dependency and container scanning, and automate security checks for developers.

Required profile

• 4+ years of experience in product or application security, software engineering or security engineering.
• Strong software engineering background with hands‑on experience securing backend systems, REST APIs and micro‑services.
• Proficiency with cloud platforms (AWS, GCP or Azure) and container orchestration (Kubernetes, Docker).
• Fluent English communication skills.
