About the role
The Procurement Manager reports to the Head of Procurement and will lead sourcing, negotiation and contracting across IT, Marketing and general spend categories. Acting as a business partner, the role owns end‑to‑end procurement activities to deliver cost savings, manage risk and ensure high‑quality suppliers.
Key responsibilities
- Develop and execute sourcing strategies for IT hardware, software, cloud services and Marketing agencies, media and events.
- Conduct spend analysis, market research and supplier landscape assessments to identify savings and risk opportunities.
- Plan and lead competitive sourcing events (RFI/RFP/RFQ), evaluate suppliers and manage contract negotiations.
- Partner with Legal to draft contracts, manage renewals and ensure compliance with policy and regulations.
- Serve as the primary procurement contact for internal stakeholders, translating requirements into sourcing plans and providing regular updates.
- Manage the full supplier lifecycle – onboarding, performance monitoring, risk management and off‑boarding.
- Track supplier performance metrics (SLAs, KPIs) and lead business reviews to drive continuous improvement.
- Maintain accurate records of contracts, spend and savings, and report on workload performance and risk exposure.
Required profile
- 5+ years of procurement experience, preferably with exposure to IT and Marketing categories.
- Proven track record of leading end‑to‑end sourcing events and negotiating complex commercial contracts.
- Strong analytical abilities for spend analysis, market research and savings tracking.
- Excellent stakeholder management and influencing skills, comfortable engaging senior leaders.
- Solid understanding of contract law fundamentals and commercial terms such as SLAs, KPIs and data protection clauses.
- Professional procurement certification (e.g., CIPS, CPSM) is a plus.
