Microsoft System Administrator

About the role

We are an IT company in Riga with a start‑up atmosphere and strong backing from our German parent company. We are looking for a Microsoft System Administrator to manage and secure our Microsoft server infrastructure and identity services.

Key responsibilities

• Manage and maintain Microsoft server infrastructure and identity services.
• Administer Active Directory, including GPOs, DNS, permissions and trust relationships.
• Support Entra ID (Azure AD) and hybrid identity solutions.
• Troubleshoot Windows Server, authentication, certificate and connectivity issues.
• Resolve incidents, service requests and change tasks while ensuring stable and secure operations.
• Automate recurring administrative tasks using PowerShell.
• Maintain technical documentation, operational procedures and knowledge‑base articles.
• Collaborate with customers and internal teams to deliver reliable IT services.

Required profile

• Several years of hands‑on experience in Microsoft infrastructure operations.
• Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills with a service‑oriented mindset.
• Good communication skills in English; German is a plus.
