MAG/MIG Welder – Full-time On-site Position in Riga

About the role

This full-time, on-site position is for a MAG/MIG Welder based in Riga, Latvia. The successful candidate will join a production team to carry out welding tasks on metal structures and components, following technical drawings and project specifications.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare and set up welding equipment for MAG and MIG processes, adjusting parameters for different materials and thicknesses.
• Measure, cut, grind, fit and assemble steel parts according to blueprints.
• Perform welding operations to produce high-quality joints while adhering to safety, quality and production standards.
• Inspect welds visually and with basic measuring tools, ensuring compliance with specifications.
• Carry out routine maintenance on welding tools and equipment.
• Maintain an organized workstation and collaborate with supervisors and team members to meet project deadlines.

Required profile

• Proven experience with MAG and MIG welding in an industrial or manufacturing setting.
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, blueprints and welding symbols.
• Experience in metal fabrication activities such as measuring, cutting and assembling steel components.
• Strong focus on quality control and workplace safety.
• Basic communication skills and the ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
