Lead DevOps Engineer

About the role

Point Wild is seeking a Lead DevOps Engineer to own and evolve its cloud infrastructure on Google Cloud. You will be responsible for the reliability, scalability, and security of production environments while driving automation and continuous delivery across the organization.

Key responsibilities

• Architect, deploy, and manage highly available GCP and GKE environments.
• Maintain declarative infrastructure as code using Terraform and enforce GitOps workflows with Atlantis.
• Design, build, and optimize CI/CD pipelines with GitHub Actions, Jenkins, and ArgoCD.
• Manage enterprise networking, service mesh (Istio) configurations, and API gateways (Kong).
• Implement observability, logging, and alerting to ensure high availability and rapid incident response.
• Enforce security and compliance standards (VPC‑SC, IAM, Org Policies, SOC2) and participate in on‑call rotation.

Required profile

• Senior‑level experience operating production workloads on GCP and GKE.
• Proven expertise with Terraform at scale and GitOps processes.
• Strong background in building multi‑stage automated deployment pipelines.
• Hands‑on experience with Istio service mesh and Kong API gateway.
• Demonstrated ability to implement enterprise‑grade security and secret management.
