Key Account Executive

About the role

Join PMI as a Key Account Executive and help drive the company’s transition toward a smoke‑free future. You will work with strategic customers, wholesalers and channel partners to grow the business, ensure product availability and support new product launches.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and execute key‑account strategies to achieve sales targets.
• Develop and maintain account plans for key customers, regularly reviewing performance against company strategy.
• Build trusted partnerships, act as an advisor, and influence decisions to secure long‑term growth.
• Negotiate trading terms, identify growth opportunities, manage risks and ensure compliance.
• Monitor market trends, competitive activity and customer expansion plans, turning insights into actionable improvements.
• Oversee portfolio execution, including product visibility, merchandising standards and commercial plan implementation.
• Manage resources, budgets and external partners while upholding legal, policy and EHS standards.

Required profile

• University or college degree in Business, Economics, Marketing or a related field.
• Proven key‑account management experience, preferably in the FMCG sector.
• Strong stakeholder management and partnership‑building abilities.
• Experience negotiating trading terms with distributors, wholesalers and merchandising agencies.
• Analytical mindset with the capacity to translate insights into business actions.
• Fluency in Latvian and English.

Required skills

• MS Office proficiency.
