Java Developer – Digital Sales Solutions

About the role

Join If to shape the insurance industry’s digital sales experience across the Nordics. You will work in an agile environment, collaborating with developers, business stakeholders, and customers to design and launch innovative solutions for private customers.

Key responsibilities

• Design and implement high‑quality software based on If reference architecture.
• Develop scalable, maintainable code and ensure adherence to best practices.
• Drive continuous delivery and shared accountability within the team.
• Create and maintain REST and SOAP APIs for seamless system integration.
• Lead code‑quality initiatives, including unit and integration testing.

Required profile

• University degree in Computer Science, Engineering or related field.
• Proven experience as a Java Developer in a fast‑paced environment.
• Strong hands‑on expertise with Java 17+ and its ecosystem.
• Experience building RESTful and SOAP‑based web services.
• Solid knowledge of Azure Cloud Services and Azure DevOps for CI/CD pipelines.
• Proficiency with unit and integration testing tools such as JUnit and Mockito.
• Excellent English communication skills and ability to work collaboratively in an agile setting.
