IT Project Manager – Fintech

About the role

Eleving Group is seeking an IT Project Manager to join its Africa & Asia regional team. You will lead technology initiatives across multiple markets, collaborating with cross‑functional teams and stakeholders to deliver innovative fintech solutions.

Key responsibilities

• Define problems, opportunities and success outcomes while empowering teams to determine execution paths.
• Set clear project scope, constraints and priorities to meet timelines.
• Communicate intent through diagrams, sketches and concise outlines.
• Gather requirements from users, support, and business stakeholders.
• Pitch shaped work to leadership for upcoming development cycles.
• Identify technical risks early and validate feasibility with senior developers.
• Maintain lean specifications and review delivered work against original intent.

Required profile

• Proven IT project management experience, preferably in fintech or fast‑paced financial services.
• Systems thinking with the ability to see how features fit into the larger product.
• UX and technical awareness to sketch interface ideas without being a designer.
• Strong customer‑centric mindset and comfort with trade‑offs to meet deadlines.
• Decision‑making ability with incomplete information.
