About the role

We are looking for a Chief Accountant to lead our accounting function for a growing group of companies. Based in our new office in Cēsis, you will ensure accurate financial reporting and support strategic decisions.

Key responsibilities

• Manage full‑cycle accounting for the entire corporate group.
• Prepare and submit financial statements and reports to state authorities, management, and investors, coordinating with auditors.
• Lead, develop, and motivate the accounting team to achieve high performance.
• Oversee month‑end, quarter‑end, and year‑end closing processes.
• Participate in continuous improvement of accounting processes in collaboration with other departments and senior management.

Required profile

• Higher education in accounting, economics or finance.
• Minimum 3 years of experience as a chief accountant or in an equivalent senior accounting role.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills, with proven experience in leading a team.
• Attention to detail, precision, and proactive initiative in work processes.
