French Speaking Accountant

About the role

Join a Fortune 500 international organization as an Accountant within the Store Accounting team, supporting retail operations across Europe. You will work in a global finance function, collaborating with international stakeholders and developing your career in a multicultural environment.

Key responsibilities

• Process debit and credit notes and perform accounting activities related to retail operations.
• Reconcile daily transactions and resolve discrepancies with international stakeholders.
• Support business partners and site managers with accounting‑related queries.
• Prepare and process journal entries.
• Participate in month‑end closing activities and account reconciliations.
• Drive process improvements and contribute to operational excellence initiatives.

Required profile

• 1‑2+ years of accounting experience.
• Fluency in English (written and spoken); French language skills are an advantage.
• Experience with ERP systems such as SAP or JDE.
• Strong analytical, problem‑solving and communication abilities.
• Detail‑oriented and highly organized.
