About the role
Join Luminor as a Data Engineer focused on Core Banking and Data Transformation. You will turn complex banking data into trusted, business‑ready solutions and work closely with stakeholders, analysts, architects, and engineers.
Key responsibilities
- Design and develop reliable data transformations and pipelines for banking, finance, reporting and analytics.
- Analyze data end‑to‑end from source systems through transformations to downstream consumers.
- Translate business requirements into data mappings, transformation rules, reconciliation logic and technical solutions.
- Develop and maintain Bronze, Silver and Gold data layers, ensuring quality and consistency.
- Investigate complex data issues across source systems, warehouses and reporting environments.
- Own the full engineering lifecycle from analysis and implementation to testing, deployment and production support.
- Collaborate with business stakeholders, analysts, architects and engineers to deliver scalable solutions.
Required profile
- Strong experience with SQL, Python, relational databases, data modelling and data warehousing.
- Good understanding of core banking data such as accounts, transactions, balances and GL accounting.
- Hands‑on experience building data transformations on cloud platforms, preferably AWS.
- Familiarity with Git, CI/CD, testing and deployment practices.
- Experience with Oracle / Oracle FLEXCUBE is a strong advantage.
- Knowledge of Databricks/Spark, Bronze‑Silver‑Gold architectures and BI/reporting environments is beneficial.
- Fluent English communication skills.

- Gross salary €3,180‑€4,780 per month, based on experience.
