Data Analyst – Crew Resources (Riga)

About the role

We are seeking a Data Analyst to join our Crew Resources team in Riga. You will own the data, reporting, and optimisation work that keeps our crew rostering process reliable, working daily with Python, SQL, and Power BI in a live airline environment.

Key responsibilities

• Extract, clean, transform, and validate data from databases, APIs, data warehouses, and operational systems using SQL and Python.
• Develop, maintain, and improve Power BI dashboards and reports, handling Power Query, data modelling, and DAX.
• Own recurring data preparation, validation, and reporting processes and drive their automation.
• Participate in the monthly crew roster generation process, preparing and validating input data, supporting optimisation runs, and analysing outputs.
• Investigate data and output inconsistencies and support corrective actions before operational delivery.
• Support data preparation, validation, and analysis for Operations Research and mathematical optimisation models.
• Identify repetitive analytical tasks suitable for automation and build solutions.
• Maintain documentation of data sources, transformations, business logic, and KPI definitions.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in a quantitative/technical field (Computer Science, Data Science, Engineering, Mathematics, Statistics, Operations Research, Economics) or equivalent experience.
• Relevant experience in data analytics, business intelligence, or a related quantitative role.
• Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills with the ability to communicate findings to both technical and non‑technical stakeholders.
