Customer Experience Specialist – Export & Import

About the role

Join NORIT in Riga as a Customer Experience Specialist focused on export and import operations across the Americas. You will be the primary liaison for customers, ensuring seamless order processing, shipment coordination, and a high‑quality service experience.

Key responsibilities

• Handle export and import order entries and monitor execution.
• Prepare, gather, and distribute shipment‑related documentation.
• Manage supply‑chain replenishment orders.
• Serve as the first point of contact for customers via email and phone, overseeing orders from receipt to delivery and negotiating revised shipping dates when needed.
• Coordinate shipments of NORIT products, adjusting dates, product selections, and quantities.
• Maintain master data in ERP and CRM systems, enter orders, and process customer requests.
• Ensure a smooth customer experience through professional handling, feedback collection, problem solving, and analysis of customer needs.
• Collaborate with internal teams in sales, planning, manufacturing, and logistics.
• Adhere to NORIT policies, safety regulations, internal controls, and ISO standards.

Required profile

• At least 1 year of experience in customer service or sales, preferably in manufacturing, B2B, or logistics.
• University degree preferred; current students are also considered.
• Ability to work 14:30‑00:00 Monday‑Friday, with occasional 11:00‑19:30 shifts (up to two days per week, except Fridays).
• Previous logistics or manufacturing experience is a plus.
• Fluent English; additional languages (German, French, Spanish, Dutch, etc.) are advantageous.
• Detail‑oriented with strong organizational abilities.
• Excellent communication, active listening, and problem‑solving skills.
• Collaborative, customer‑first mindset.
