Client Services Assistant – Payments Fintech

About the role

Join Clear Junction’s client services team in Riga and provide operational support to banks, payment service providers and other financial institutions. You will act as the first point of contact for client inquiries, ensuring smooth transaction processing and compliance with regulatory standards.

Key responsibilities

• Monitor, facilitate and troubleshoot client operations, including verification, onboarding new customers, incident handling and transaction assistance.
• Respond to client inquiries via email and the internet banking platform, handling password/MFA resets and transaction status questions.
• Serve as the first line of defense for AML, financial crime and sanctions compliance issues.
• Assist with compliance requests and prepare reference letters as directed by client service managers.
• Log, resolve and appropriately escalate issues, collaborating with internal teams to meet client needs.

Required profile

• Minimum 2 years experience in B2B client relationship or support.
• At least 2 years experience in the financial services or banking sector.
• Customer‑oriented attitude with excellent communication skills.
• Ability to work effectively within a team.
• Good command of English and Russian.

Required skills

• Proficient use of Microsoft Office.
• Proficient use of Google Docs.
