Catering Quality Assurance Manager – Food Service QA/QC

About the role

FEPS GmbH is seeking a dedicated Quality Assurance/Quality Control Manager to lead the catering operation at a military base in Latvia. You will be responsible for implementing and maintaining a robust food safety system that meets NATO, NSPA, HACCP, and ISO 22000 requirements.

Key responsibilities

• Implement and sustain the FEPS Quality Assurance system on site in line with NATO/NSPA standards.
• Ensure full application of HACCP principles, ISO 22000 standards, and internal SOPs.
• Oversee temperature‑control logs, food sampling, cleaning, pest control, audits, NCRs and training activities.
• Maintain inspection readiness and QA documentation within the Document Management System.
• Coordinate audit schedules with the Corporate QA Director and analyse findings.
• Prepare regular QA status reports for senior management.
• Conduct daily QA briefings and communicate hygiene risks promptly.

Required profile

• Minimum 5 years experience in QA/QC within food service or catering.
• Experience with military customers is a plus.
• Knowledge of international food standards and the Global Food Statement of Work.
• Valid HACCP training and strong understanding of ISO 22000.
• Proficient spoken and written English.
• Ability to make decisions under pressure.
• Passport from a NATO country, EU work eligibility and a clean police record.
