Lady / Gent in Red – Hotel Ambassador

About the role

The Lady / Gent in Red is the iconic Hotel Ambassador for Grand Hotel Kempinski Riga, acting as an extended arm of the General Manager to welcome, assist and bid farewell to guests, especially VIPs, while ensuring the highest service standards.

Key responsibilities

• Collect and distribute daily VIP feedback from sources such as Google, Opera PMS and briefs, updating guest profiles and creating fact sheets or newsletters.
• Handle guest complaints and requests politely and efficiently, directing staff as needed to guarantee optimal satisfaction.
• Escalate unusual circumstances to senior management and report any hazards for immediate rectification.
• Welcome, escort and farewell top VIPs, ensuring a seamless experience from arrival to departure.

Required profile

• Very good knowledge of Latvian and English; additional languages are a plus.
• Excellent interaction and communication skills.
• Proven experience in the hotel industry, preferably in a 5‑star environment.
• Ability to work independently, thrive under pressure and devise proactive solutions.
