Accountant – Finance & Control (Temporary, 1 year)

About the role

Join the Finance & Control department of Circle K Business Centre in Riga and support the full accounting and financial reporting cycle for European operations. This is a one‑year temporary position within a global finance organization.

Key responsibilities

• Respond to queries from site managers, business units and external partners.
• Check, prepare and process journal entries based on information received.
• Answer questions from other company units regarding processed financial records.
• Perform periodical closing procedures and balance‑sheet account reconciliation.
• Handle audit requests and contribute to process‑improvement projects.

Required profile

• University or college degree in accounting, economics or finance.
• Previous experience in accounting, finance or audit.
• Excellent organizing abilities, attention to detail and ability to work independently.
• Strong analytical skills and ability to investigate discrepancies.
• Fluent English for communication with European colleagues.
