About the role
Join Luminor’s Third‑Party Risk & Governance Unit to strengthen the identification, assessment, and monitoring of third‑party risks across the Baltic region. You will work closely with colleagues throughout the lifecycle of vendor relationships, ensuring regulatory compliance and business continuity.
Key responsibilities
- Review and challenge third‑party risk matters throughout the lifecycle, including screening, due diligence, risk assessment, issue identification, ongoing monitoring, and decision support.
- Assess risks against business context, regulatory expectations, controls, and the impact on critical processes.
- Identify and resolve incomplete information, control gaps, remediation actions, dependencies, and escalation needs.
- Contribute to the design, implementation, and continuous improvement of third‑party management frameworks, processes, controls, methodologies, tools, and ways of working.
- Support business continuity, service continuity, exit, and resilience planning and testing for critical third‑party services.
- Provide clear, concise, action‑oriented advice and reporting to stakeholders, management, governance bodies, and control functions.
- Maintain detailed records of conclusions, rationale, evidence, data, and follow‑up actions to ensure auditability and effective handover.
- Undertake additional governance, control oversight, and stakeholder support activities as the framework evolves.
Required profile
- Minimum 3 years of experience in third‑party risk, outsourcing risk, vendor management, operational risk, compliance or a related field, preferably within financial services.
- Strong analytical and critical‑thinking abilities to evaluate detailed information and draw sound risk‑based conclusions.
- Good understanding of regulatory requirements for third‑party and outsourcing risk management.
- Experience using vendor, supplier, risk or workflow management tools for assessments, monitoring, reporting and evidence management.
- Proven track record conducting or reviewing third‑party due diligence, risk assessments, findings and remediation activities.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to present findings and recommendations clearly.
- Bachelor’s degree in economics, business, risk management, IT or a related field.
- Fluency in English and one Baltic language (written and spoken).
