Accountant – German language skills

About the role

Join the Finance & Control department of Circle K Business Centre in Riga as a temporary Accountant supporting German franchise operations. This 1‑year fixed‑term role involves full‑cycle accounting and reporting for dealer sites in Germany.

Key responsibilities

• Perform daily, weekly and monthly franchise accounting procedures for dealer sites in Germany.
• Respond to queries from site managers, business‑unit representatives and external partners.
• Check, prepare and process journal entries based on information received.
• Answer questions from other company units on processed financial records.
• Execute month‑end closing procedures, resolving discrepancies and errors.
• Contribute to process‑improvement projects.

Required profile

• 1‑2 years of accounting experience.
• Degree in Accounting, Finance or Economics, or final‑year student in a related field.
• Fluent in English (verbal and written).
• Fluent in German (C1 level, verbal and written).
• Experience with ERP systems; SAP or JDE is a plus.
• Precise, analytical, organized and solution‑oriented personality.
• Self‑motivated, positive and a good team player.
