Technical Project Assistant – Riga, Latvia

About the role

DB Engineering & Consulting is seeking a Technical Project Assistance professional to support a railway infrastructure design project in the Baltics, based in Riga. The role involves preparing status reports, managing stakeholders, and supporting the Project Manager in various project‑management tasks.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare, hold and summarize project status reports and client meetings.
• Manage stakeholder interactions in DPS3 and oversee document and CDE management.
• Coordinate translation tasks and utilities subcontractors.
• Support the Project Manager with internal and external reporting, schedule, risk, quality, meeting preparation, commercial and budget control.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or a related field with relevant experience in Latvia.
• Excellent written and verbal communication in English and Latvian (native speaker); German is a plus.
• Minimum 4 years of professional experience in project management within design/construction in Latvia, familiar with local construction laws.
• Proactive communicator with strong problem‑solving skills and high attention to detail.

• Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
• ProjectWise.
• SharePoint.
• Building Information System (BIS) or similar.
