System Architect (Open‑Source Cloud & DevOps)

About the role

DATI Group is looking for a System Architect to lead the design and implementation of open‑source cloud infrastructure and DevOps platforms. You will work closely with stakeholders to translate end‑user needs into technical specifications and drive the project from prototype to production.

Key responsibilities

• Collaborate with stakeholders to capture and document end‑user requirements.
• Design and develop scalable, reliable, and secure open‑source cloud and DevOps architectures.
• Lead the initial development phase, including prototype creation and proof‑of‑concept demonstrations.
• Define and document best practices, standards, and guidelines for cloud infrastructure deployment.
• Work side‑by‑side with leading European ICT experts and integrate cutting‑edge research into real solutions.
• Operate in an Agile environment and lead a technical team.

Required profile

• Proven experience in designing and implementing IT infrastructure solutions.
• Hands‑on experience with public cloud services and open‑source technologies.
• Strong knowledge of Agile, Scrum and DevOps team practices.
• Excellent documentation skills (specifications, requirements, instructions).
• Experience with micro‑services architecture and network concepts (DNS, firewall, routing, TLS).
• Ability to communicate in Latvian and English.
• Leadership experience in building and managing technical teams.
