SQL & C# Developer – Trading Regulatory Reporting

About the role

SEB is seeking a SQL and C# Developer to join its Trading Regulatory Reporting team in Riga. You will work in an international, agile environment alongside colleagues in Sweden and other locations, helping to keep SEB compliant with trading regulations.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop, test, deploy and support enhancements to the in‑house reporting engine built on the Microsoft platform.
• Maintain and optimise T‑SQL stored procedures and C# .NET components.
• Debug and analyse issues using logs, configuration files and code, documenting defects collaboratively.
• Participate in CI/CD pipelines, using Git and GitHub Actions for version control and automated deployments.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to integrate new regulatory requirements and improve system reliability.

Required profile

• Proven hands‑on experience with C# .NET and T‑SQL, including stored procedures.
• Strong analytical skills and ability to break down complex problems.
• Experience with full‑lifecycle development from analysis to support.
• Curiosity about AI and willingness to explore large language models (LLMs) in development workflows.
• Coaching mindset and readiness to share knowledge within an agile team.
