Senior Software Developer (AI)

About the role

We are looking for a Senior Software Developer specialized in AI to join Team Pandora, the internal AI‑focused unit of Swisscom’s IT services subsidiary. The role is based in Riga and will contribute to a portfolio of intelligent assistants, knowledge platforms and productivity tools that help Swisscom employees work smarter.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop and maintain modern software solutions that support internal Swisscom teams.
• Build AI‑enabled applications that simplify knowledge access, automate workflows and boost productivity.
• Integrate Large Language Models and other AI capabilities into new and existing products.
• Collaborate with engineers, product owners and business stakeholders to deliver valuable solutions.
• Contribute to technical architecture, code quality standards and engineering best practices.
• Participate in code reviews, agile ceremonies and continuous improvement of reliability, scalability and maintainability.

Required profile

• Proven experience as a senior software engineer delivering complex applications.
• Strong understanding of AI concepts and experience applying them in production environments.
• Ability to work effectively with cross‑functional teams in a hybrid setting.
• Critical mindset for evaluating AI‑generated output and ensuring responsible use.
