Senior Risk Manager

About the role

Redwire Corporation is seeking a Senior Risk Manager to establish and lead enterprise‑wide risk management practices across its Program Management Organization. The role works on‑site in Riga, collaborating with program managers, engineering, quality and senior leadership to ensure proactive risk handling throughout product development.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and implement risk management best practices in line with AS9100 and industry standards.
• Lead risk review meetings for program managers and the Management Board.
• Own and continuously improve the company’s risk management process and governance.
• Identify program risks, issues, opportunities and dependencies with cross‑functional teams.
• Define mitigation strategies, action plans and ensure transparent follow‑up of risks.
• Serve as the subject‑matter expert for risk management across programs and projects.
• Generate and maintain Risk Management Plans aligned with the PMO/PLM framework.
• Support program managers during customer meetings, audits and reviews, both locally and internationally.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives to raise risk management maturity.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business Management, Risk Management or a related field.
• Minimum 7 years of experience in risk, program or project management within aerospace, defense, aviation or other highly regulated industries.
• Strong knowledge of AS9100 quality standards and risk management methodologies.
• Proven experience supporting complex development or manufacturing programs.
• Excellent analytical, organizational and problem‑solving abilities.
• Strong communication and stakeholder‑management skills.
• Ability to influence teams and drive organizational improvements.
• Willingness to travel when required.
