Senior Project Manager

About the role

Redwire Defense Tech is seeking a Senior Project Manager to lead complex projects in the Unmanned Aerial Systems (UAS) sector. You will be responsible for planning, coordinating, and executing projects from initiation to delivery, ensuring alignment with business goals, timelines, and quality standards.

Key responsibilities

• Lead end‑to‑end project execution, including planning, scheduling, resource allocation and delivery.
• Define project scope, goals, deliverables, tasks and resource requirements.
• Develop, manage and track detailed project plans and progress against milestones.
• Provide direction and support to project teams, ensuring on‑time and quality delivery.
• Oversee project documentation, reporting and communication with stakeholders.
• Identify and mitigate project risks through proactive issue management.
• Track project costs and resources, ensuring alignment with financial targets.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering, business management or related field (master’s advantageous).
• 4+ years experience in the UAV industry, preferably in project management or senior engineering roles.
• Proven ability to plan, coordinate and deliver technical projects.
• Strong understanding of project management methodologies (Agile, Waterfall).
• Fluent in written and spoken Latvian and English.

Required skills

• UAV systems development, testing and engineering design.
• Agile and Waterfall project management methodologies.
• Project management tools such as MS Project, Planner and Sensei IQ.
• PMP or equivalent project management certification.
