Senior Quality Assurance Engineer

About the role

Redwire Corporation is seeking a Senior Quality Assurance Engineer to ensure that quality standards are consistently met throughout the production lifecycle of autonomous UAVs and advanced electro‑optical systems. The role focuses on developing control plans, managing non‑conformance processes, and driving continuous improvement.

Key responsibilities

• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to analyse problems, determine root causes and implement corrective actions quickly and efficiently.
• Define quality assurance parameters with software and product designers.
• Monitor quality performance and conformance from design through delivery to customers.
• Conduct product and process audits and create or update work instructions to ensure compliance.
• Maintain and control quality documentation, ensuring accessibility and currency.
• Ensure compliance with ISO 9001, EN9100, ISO 14001 and other applicable regulations.
• Provide data‑driven observations and recommendations for product and process improvements.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in mechanical or electronic engineering.
• Minimum 2 years of experience in a Quality Assurance role within a manufacturing environment.
• Strong analytical, problem‑solving and communication skills.
• High attention to detail and ability to work independently.
• Fluent in Latvian and English, both written and spoken.
