Quality Control Inspector – Manufacturing

About the role

Redwire Corporation, a global space and defense technology company, is looking for a Quality Control Inspector to ensure that incoming materials, in‑process items and finished products meet defined quality standards. The role supports continuous improvement and compliance across its manufacturing operations.

Key responsibilities

• Establish, implement, and maintain quality control processes across the organization.
• Plan, implement, and assess preventive and corrective actions to ensure compliance with quality requirements.
• Perform inspections of incoming materials, in‑process products, and finished goods according to approved procedures and standards.
• Identify non‑conforming products, conduct root‑cause analysis with relevant departments, and ensure corrective actions are applied.
• Contribute to continuous improvement of manufacturing and production processes to reduce quality risks and recurring issues.
• Provide quality‑related support to the production department, ensuring adherence to specifications.
• Promote a culture of quality awareness, continuous improvement, and compliance with internal processes.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Quality Management, Engineering or a related discipline (preferred).
• Experience or strong understanding of manufacturing and production environments.
• Solid knowledge of quality control and quality assurance principles.
• Strong communication and cross‑functional collaboration abilities.
• High analytical thinking, problem‑solving skills and attention to detail.
• Fluency in Latvian and English, both written and spoken.
• Ability to work in a fast‑paced, dynamic environment while handling multiple priorities.
