Senior Data Analyst

About the role

We are looking for an experienced Senior Data Analyst to support Luminor’s anti‑financial crime and compliance initiatives. You will turn complex data into actionable insights, helping the bank become a local champion in the Baltic region.

Key responsibilities

• Evaluate, lead and support the development, implementation and optimisation of anti‑financial crime and compliance solutions.
• Perform complex data analysis to identify trends, risks and opportunities and provide data‑driven recommendations.
• Monitor, review and enhance existing analytical tools to improve efficiency.
• Collaborate with business and technical stakeholders to gather requirements and deliver solutions.
• Support testing activities, including user‑acceptance testing, incident follow‑up and solution validation.
• Contribute to automation and modernisation initiatives using data analytics and technology.
• Lead data‑analytics projects that align with strategic objectives and long‑term business goals.

Required profile

• Higher education in Economics, Mathematics, Business Administration, IT or a related field.
• At least 3 years of experience in data analysis, visualisation and SQL.
• Strong understanding of banking products, processes and relational databases.
• Advanced knowledge of Python, R or KNIME and experience with Tableau or Power BI.
• Excellent problem‑solving, communication and collaboration skills.
• Fluent English (spoken and written); AML knowledge is a plus.
