About the role

We are looking for a dedicated sanitary worker to join our rehabilitation clinic for children. The position involves ensuring a clean, safe, and welcoming environment for young patients, their families, and staff.

Key responsibilities

• Accompany small patients to specialist consultations, examinations and other hospital departments.
• Maintain cleanliness and order in the unit, performing disinfection of rooms, equipment and toys.
• Handle laundry, medical waste and ensure proper waste circulation.
• Replenish hygiene supplies as needed.
• Receive, transport and store household and medical materials.

Required profile

• Basic education.
• Proficiency in Latvian.
• Empathy and excellent communication skills with patients, parents and colleagues.
• High sense of responsibility.
• Compliance with the Child Rights Protection Law (article 72) and National Security Law requirements.

Required skills

• Knowledge of infection‑control and disinfection procedures.
• Ability to handle medical waste safely.
• Experience using cleaning equipment and supplies.
