Sales Representative – Latvian Market (Construction)

About the role

You will be responsible for selling the full range of ROCKWOOL products across all customer segments, including contractors, architects, designers, installers, distributors and DIY retailers. The role involves spending the majority of your time in Riga and its surroundings, with regular travel to the rest of Latvia.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and manage the full Latvian market for ROCKWOOL, building relationships with construction companies, architects, designers, installers, distributors and DIY stores.
• Ensure optimal visibility and availability of products at all sales points and implement sales plans that foster long‑term partnerships.
• Acquire new contractors in Riga (60‑65% of time) and across the country (35‑40% of time), preparing tailored commercial offers and handling payment, delivery and claim issues.
• Monitor market trends and competitor activity, manage sales forecasting, pricing and margin optimisation.
• Provide technical guidance, conduct training workshops, demonstrations and represent the company at fairs and industry events.

Required profile

• Higher education, preferably in Civil Engineering, Architecture or a related technical field (or proven sales experience in construction).
• Minimum 4 years of sales experience in the construction sector, working with general contractors, architects and distributors.
• Professional fluency in Latvian (native) and English; Russian is a plus.
• Strong interpersonal skills, ability to create clear commercial offers and manage client visits across Latvia.
• Valid driving licence and willingness to travel extensively.
