Product Owner (Accounts and Deposits)

About the role

Join Luminor Group as a Product Owner responsible for the Accounts and Deposits portfolio. You will act as the bridge between business stakeholders and technical teams, shaping product vision and ensuring successful delivery of enhancements, regulatory changes, and migrations.

Key responsibilities

• Own end‑to‑end business analysis and translate needs into clear user stories and specifications.
• Govern product requirements, maintain traceability, and align with target operating models.
• Lead data migration and reconciliation activities, including mapping, validation, and post‑migration verification.
• Drive system upgrades, regulatory updates, and product enhancements while managing change.
• Maintain JIRA boards, provide visibility on progress, priorities and performance.
• Monitor product performance through dashboards, KPIs and data quality checks.
• Conduct root‑cause analysis, resolve incidents and continuously improve processes.
• Collaborate with other Product Owners and IT teams to align backlogs and ensure sprint success.
• Support UAT, risk assessment, compliance, audits and business continuity activities.

Required profile

• Proven experience in banking or fintech product lifecycle management.
• Strong ability to define system functionalities and produce structured documentation.
• Experience with large‑scale banking system migrations or transformation programmes.
• Excellent communication skills in Latvian and English.
• Solid understanding of Baltic banking regulations and compliance.
• Experience working in agile delivery environments.
