Precision Medicine & Diagnostic Lead – Baltics

About the role

AstraZeneca is seeking a strategic and collaborative leader to drive its Precision Medicine and Diagnostics strategy across the Baltic region. You will shape the future of precision oncology by ensuring patients receive the right diagnostic testing and treatments at the right time.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and implement the Baltic precision medicine and diagnostics strategy aligned with global priorities and upcoming oncology launches.
• Lead the diagnostics strategy for AstraZeneca’s oncology portfolio, delivering key KPIs such as testing rates and biomarker positivity.
• Embed high‑quality companion diagnostic solutions into local healthcare pathways and support reimbursement strategies.
• Support commercial teams with diagnostic knowledge, launch planning, and early asset preparation.
• Build and maintain relationships with molecular pathologists, geneticists, oncologists, and laboratory leaders to improve patient access to innovative diagnostics.
• Represent AstraZeneca as a thought leader within the oncology diagnostics community.
• Collaborate cross‑functionally with Medical, Market Access, Commercial, and Franchise teams to create a unified precision medicine vision.

Required profile

• Degree in Medicine, Pharmacy, Life Sciences or a related scientific discipline.
• Experience within an innovative pharmaceutical company.
• Strong oncology background and proven leadership experience.
