Part-time MYP German Language Teacher

About the role

The International School of Latvia is looking for a passionate German teacher to join its international faculty on a part‑time basis. The position supports the International Baccalaureate Middle Years Programme (MYP) and aims to deliver high‑quality language instruction while fostering intercultural understanding.

Key responsibilities

• Plan and deliver engaging German lessons aligned with the IB MYP framework.
• Design assessments, provide constructive feedback, and monitor student progress.
• Collaborate with fellow teachers to ensure curriculum continuity and academic excellence.
• Contribute to a positive, inclusive classroom and school environment.

Required profile

• Degree in German, Education, or a related discipline.
• Previous teaching experience, preferably within an IB school setting.
• Strong communication and organisational abilities.
• Commitment to international‑mindedness and student well‑being.

Required skills

• Proficiency in teaching German as a foreign language.
