Mobile Application Developer

About the role

TalTap is looking for a Mobile Application Developer to maintain and expand its production Flutter app that powers the largest on‑demand workforce platform in the Baltics. You will work in Riga, collaborating with backend engineers and using AI‑assisted tools to deliver new features and improve the user experience.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain and extend the existing Flutter app (authentication, Firebase integration, REST APIs, Bloc state management, real‑time features).
• Develop new features based on user feedback and business requirements.
• Migrate a FlutterFlow‑built app to a clean, maintainable codebase using AI‑assisted development.
• Incorporate AI coding tools into daily workflow and review AI‑generated code for correctness, security, and maintainability.
• Optimize performance, fix bugs, and enhance UX.
• Collaborate with backend engineers on API integrations.
• Potentially lead mobile development as the team scales.

Required profile

• Proven experience building and shipping mobile applications (Flutter, React Native, native iOS/Android, etc.).
• Based in Riga, Latvia.
• Hands‑on experience with AI‑assisted development and LLM‑based coding tools.
• Strong understanding of mobile architecture, state management, and app lifecycle.
• Ability to work with an existing codebase that uses Firebase, REST APIs, and the Bloc pattern.
• Excellent code‑review skills, especially for AI‑generated code.
• Experience publishing apps to the iOS and Android app stores.
• Comfortable in a fast‑paced startup environment with high autonomy.
