About the role
This is a six‑month paid internship (40 hours per week) located in Auce, Latvia, in collaboration with the Social Care Home “MIlur”. The programme is part of the Young Specialists Employment Programme and ends with a certificate confirming the skills acquired.
Key responsibilities
- Learn to assess clients' medical conditions.
- Familiarise yourself with medical assistance and preventive care processes.
- Participate in the distribution and monitoring of medication.
- Work alongside other healthcare professionals to develop teamwork abilities.
Required profile
- Age between 18 and 29.
- Interest in the healthcare sector and willingness to take initiative.
- Good decision‑making, organisational and communication skills.
- Empathy, ability to work independently, no harmful habits and a strong sense of responsibility.
Required skills
- Patient assessment.
- Medication handling.
