Medical Information and Adverse Event Intake Specialist

About the role

Join IQVIA's fast‑growing medical information call centre team to provide phone support to healthcare professionals and consumers, handling adverse events, product quality complaints and medical inquiries. Use your scientific background and multilingual expertise to ensure safety data is accurately processed and documented.

Key responsibilities

• Provide phone support to healthcare professionals and consumers regarding adverse events, product quality complaints, medical inquiries and product support.
• Receive, triage, review and process lifecycle safety operational data, including data entry, coding medical terminology and writing descriptive narratives.
• Document incoming calls or emails from investigative sites and other sources reporting safety data.
• Build a collaborative team environment, mentor less‑experienced staff and assist with training.
• Liaise with Project Managers to identify issues and propose solutions, and participate in training and working groups for new initiatives.

Required profile

• Life Sciences degree.
• Excellent written and verbal skills in Estonian (C2/native), English and an additional foreign language (minimum C1).
• Strong attention to detail, organizational and time‑management abilities.
• Ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously and manage competing priorities.

Required skills

• Proficiency in medical terminology coding and data entry for safety databases.
• Strong communication skills in Estonian, English and another language.
