Legal Department Lawyer – Lending

About the role

Join BluOr Bank’s Legal Department in Riga as a Lawyer focused on lending activities. You will support the bank’s credit operations by drafting agreements, providing legal opinions, and ensuring compliance with local and international regulations.

Key responsibilities

• Draft credit‑related agreements and transaction documents.
• Provide legal opinions on complex transaction structures, credit security, and client documentation.
• Handle registration of credit security, including cross‑border filings.
• Resolve legal issues arising during the performance of credit obligations.
• Participate in the creation of credit procedures and related documentation.
• Represent the bank’s interests in negotiations with clients and third parties.

Required profile

• Law degree with at least 3 years of experience in lending.
• Strong analytical ability and capacity to draft documents while managing multiple tasks.
• Independent work style combined with effective teamwork.
• High sense of responsibility, attention to detail, and ability to present arguments persuasively.

Required skills

• Excellent written legal skills in Latvian and English.
