IT Compliance Specialist

About the role

We are looking for an IT Compliance Specialist to ensure our in‑house IT systems and processes meet industry standards, internal policies, and regulatory requirements. This fully remote position is based in Latvia and supports a global organization operating in the medical science sector.

Key responsibilities

• Create, update, and maintain internal IT documentation such as change control records, risk assessments, system inventories, validation reports, and disaster recovery plans.
• Generate and provide IT documentation for internal and external audits.
• Participate in IT interviews during audits and answer IT‑related questions from sponsors and during client/vendor agreement reviews.
• Track and follow up on audit findings related to IT compliance and support their resolution.
• Assist in developing and updating departmental Quality System Documents (QSDs) and ensure ongoing compliance with relevant laws, regulations, and standards.
• Contribute to regular risk assessments to identify potential vulnerabilities in IT systems and processes.

Required profile

• College or university degree.
• Prior experience in IT and compliance matters.
• Meticulous attention to detail and strong document‑oriented work style.
• Full professional proficiency in English.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to build relationships at all organizational levels.
